Nursery's Blog

Our Nursery children had a great time trying not to get blown away by today’s ferocious wind. They went outside and had loads of fun playing in the blustery gales.

We’ve had a great week reading the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and doing lots of activities related to the story.  The best part was making and decorating our Gingerbread Men/Women.  They looked great and tasted wonderful so we have decided that we are all brilliant bakers in nursery.  We followed the recipe from the Cbeebies website and have included the link below if you are interested in having a look and possibly making some at home.

Also, well done to Michael who was our star of the week and has taken Billy Bear home for the weekend.  Michael is really kind and helpful at nursery and is fantastic at cleaning up!

This week at nursery we read the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’. We decided to bake some bread just like the hen in the story. We got very messy but had lots of fun and the bread tasted delicious!

We would also like to say a big “Well Done” to Eliot Cooper whose excellent behaviour this week has won him the Pupil of the Week certificate and the job of looking after Billy Bear this weekend.
